Pauline Bouissou, a promising young stylist, traveled the short distance from her hometown of Ridgefield, Connecticut, to begin her NYC career as a Sam Brocato Salon hairstylist. Growing up in a restauranteur family with French Chef parents, Pauline was exposed to the art of creating beautiful things from a young age. Articulate and polished with a modern edge, she started as a makeup artist before attending cosmetology school.
Driven by her desire to make people look and feel their absolute best, Pauline says, “the thing that gets her every time is a client’s reaction to their new look.” Her specialties include bouncy blowouts and long layers accentuating each client’s unique features.
Her style influencers include the likes of Sammi Jefcoate, Amy Winehouse, and Blake Lively. People who know her best describe Pauline as energetic, kind, and empathetic. When she’s not working her magic behind the chair, Pauline enjoys singing, playing guitar, and painting art using a variety of mediums.
