Moira “Mo” Steinmetz | Future Stylist
Moira "Mo" Steinmetz pursued a career as a hairstylist inspired by her desire to help people feel comfortable in their skin. She believes everyone is beautiful and loves using her haircutting skills to instill confidence in others. As a people person, she enjoys talking to new clients and discovering further information.
Mo's passion for the beauty industry led her to attend beauty school. She graduated from Paul Mitchell, the School in the only place she ever called home, Cleveland, Ohio. However, New York City stole her heart with its endless inspiration, and she recently relocated to be a part of the Sam Brocato Salon team. Mo is a quick learner, detail- oriented, and a team player. She believes that learning never stops and loves to learn from other stylists and professionals in the industry.
Outside of salon life, Mo is an avid reader and writer. One of her favorite books is "A Tale of Two Cities." Also a travel enthusiast, her favorite destination is Florence, Italy, where she studied abroad. The warm and welcoming people and the incredible art in the city left her with an indelible impression.
To Mo, genuine kindness comes from compassion towards others. Her authentic, creative, and energetic personality shines through in all aspects of her life. Mo's peers describe her as independent, funny, and a good listener. Her contagious energy and passion for hairdressing make her an exceptional future stylist.
