Michelle Aileen brings nearly two decades of salon experience, infusing artistry and heart into every aspect of her craft. Her expertise spans the entire beauty spectrum as a seasoned hair colorist and former licensed massage therapist.
Her hair journey started with middle school escapades, boldly embracing hair coloring for herself and her friends. This act of self-expression ignited a lifelong passion. Gwen Stefani's platinum and pink locks were her style North Star, informing her aesthetic.
"Blonding" is Michelle's superpower. She excels in seamless highlights that gracefully evolve with the hair. No noticeable transitions – just stunning hair at every stage of growth. Recognizing her skill, The Colorist magazine named her as a Top 30 under 30 artist.
Her inspiration flows from music, art, fashion, and salon life. Michelle shares, "Since the moment I met the exceptional SBS team, I sensed the authenticity that radiates from each individual." She believes "the true magic of working in a salon is the bonds we cultivate – among the staff and our cherished clientele. We're a family united by creativity."
Michelle's passions extend beyond hair – from her four cats to sports enthusiasm. She's a passionate supporter of her hometown football team, the Buffalo Bills. She also adores live music, crafting, and travel. A devoted Francophile, she's captivated by French culture, cuisine, wine, art, and architecture. Her music preferences lean towards the 70s and 80s, occasionally enjoying modern touches like Taylor Swift.
Smart, funny, quirky, and giving define Michelle. She showcases these traits as the Lead Color Educator for Future Colorists at Sam Brocato Salon. Her commitment to helping others prevails, be it through blood and platelet donation, CPR training, or animal rescue advocacy. Michelle says, "My heart thrives on giving back."
