Born and raised in rural Texas, Marisa Moon has journeyed through continents, cultures, and experiences to become a true connoisseur of beauty and style. With a global perspective built upon her insatiable love of world travel, she has honed a mature and discerning aesthetic eye.
In her youth, Marisa studied fashion design in NYC and has been a successful hair colorist for over 20 years.She enjoys both the art and science of hair color - from creating the blondest blonde to stubborn grey coverage, to the perfect natural red to low maintenance, subtle highlights and to grey blending and transition to grey… she loves it all. She strives to achieve the perfect tone to accentuate and flatter eye color, skin tone and age.
Driven by a desire to provide holistic support, Marisa pursued a path for healing with non-pharmaceutical pain and stress management. Inspired by her father’s battle with stage 4 cancer, she became a certified advanced Reiki practitioner and embarked on a four-year journey to attain three professional certifications in sound healing. This commitment to fostering positive energy infuses every interaction, creating an uplifting and welcoming haven for her salon family and cherished clients.
Known for her attentive listening and patient consultation style, she dedicates time to fully understand each client’s aspirations, ensuring that their hair color goals are met with precision and artistry. She spends extra time with each client to make sure they feel seen and heard. Marisa considers the salon to be a generator of positive energy, helping clients on their important journey of self-care and self-love. In an era dominated by screens and digital connections, Marisa made a conscious life decision to not participate in any social media and remain screen-free. She chooses to live in the moment and foster genuine connections.
