Hair is Dominik’s Passion…a fact he’s known since childhood. He recalls going to the hair salon with his mother. He was mesmerized by every hairstyling technique and the final transformation. The experience left such an impression that he started cutting and coloring his sister’s dolls’ hair at home and as early as that, he dreamed of becoming a hairstylist.
In 2001 Dominik’s dream became reality at an upscale salon in Stuttgart, Germany. There he worked on salon clients as well as runway hair backstage. He relocated to a Zurich salon in the prestigious Dolder Grand Hotel as hairstylist, catering to Europe’s top name clients and VIP’s.
Today Dominik cuts, styles, and creates elaborate and artistic hair for red carpet events from the Cannes Film Festivals, the Oscars and high profile celebrity benefits to his clients at the Sam Brocato Salon in New York City.
From high fashion to everyday glamour, Dominik can do it all. “I love giving people a new look,” says Dominik who always finds the perfect cut and style for every face. Loved for his masterful blowouts, he is also skilled in permanent waves, hair extensions and Brocato’s signature CurlInterrupted Smoothing Treatments.
